Dena Haden
Dena Haden is an International Contemporary artist, working in sustainable fibers, painting and installation work. Born and raised on Cape Cod in the US. She received her BFA from UMass Dartmouth and her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
Haden is the Founder and Director of the Co-Creative Center, a vibrant creative space in downtown New Bedford where artists can develop their work, fostering community growth and collaboration. She also co-founded SuperflatNB, a creative placemaking, mural art project dedicated to beautifying New Bedford while flattening barriers to the arts.
Haden’s artwork has garnered numerous awards and grants supporting her practice as well as invitations and publications.
Her art has been featured in numerous Solo and Group exhibitions across the United States, including shows in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Atlanta, as well as International exhibitions in Italy, France, Austria, Poland, London, Japan, Turkey, and South Korea. She has recently exhibited extensively in Italy, and the invitational Florence Biennale ART+Design in 2023 as well as the International Interior Design Biennial in 2024. She is currently represented by Stefania Carrozzini Gallery of Milan, Italy and Primo Piano Gallery of Lecce, Italy. Her next solo exhibition will be held at the Atlier Hamilton Gallery in Cannes France October 2025.
