The exhibition at BWA "Jatki" in Nowy Targ features academic teachers from leading art institutions, including the Academies of Fine Arts in Krakow, Warsaw, Gdańsk, Łódź, and Wrocław, as well as from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and artists affiliated with Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and the University of the Arts in Poznań.

"Between" sets certain boundary markers that are difficult to define unambiguously. The spaces of artistic activities located on the margins escape traditional classifications, which is why the word "between" becomes such an important element in the title, becoming a criterion and axis creating the assumption of the exhibition.

"Between" often refers to borderline situations and places in which our artistic gestures are located; this applies not only to scale, form, and matter. It also refers to the artistic issues represented in the exhibition. It often touches upon metaphysical, psychological, and philosophical issues. This specific place thus becomes a point of reference for constructing relations between the extreme vectors of broadly understood artistic strategy, serving as a catalyst in sculptural explorations.

"Between" is also a space present between the artist and the viewer, between intention and interpretation. It is the artist who has the task of shaping it, giving it the value of polemics. These are two spaces: the visual one, touching the artistic work as a materialized fact, and the space of intuition.

The selection of artists represents different potentials of sensitivity, different ways of defining the issues raised, and often distinct sculptural and material solutions manifested in the resulting works. They are located on a plane of artistic activities that are at times difficult to classify. Another important factor in initiating exhibition presentations such as this is the popularization of sculpture, especially small sculptural forms, medals, and reliefs. Art is to a large extent a dialogue with the viewer and the surrounding reality, a message and a trace of changes on the philosophical and social level. The cultural code inscribed in the resulting works testifies to the times in which we live and create.
