We exist somewhere at the junction of heaven and earth.

Rather, we are on the surface of the Earth.

There are moments of detachment.

There are moments of immersion,

somewhere deep below the line of horizon.

Wouldn't it be better not to lose sight of the horizon?

Determining the horizon line requires determining where the viewer is. It reveals the point of observation, the position of the observer, and what the person is oriented towards. It is a look at oneself as part of a larger whole in relation to which one functions, and it determines the adoption of an appropriate perspective.

The inner horizon as the key motif of the project - an exhibition showing the representations of various artists - is intended to guide and play the role of a visual compass through various narratives, images and outlined perspectives. It asks questions: can existential art change the perspective of perceiving reality? Do creators create strategies to overcome inertia, acedia and doubt through visual language?

It cannot be denied that the deepening negative phenomena observed in society caused by the revaluation of life, isolation caused by the pandemic, technological progress, armed conflict, detachment from nature have resulted in a sense of loneliness, fear, internal dispersion and a crisis of interpersonal relationships. In many cases, this resulted in people sinking into helplessness, senselessness, insomnia, and a multitude of days that merge into one gray, unwanted fate.

These experiences have brought an awakening for many to experience and appreciate what is present. To look for fragments of stability in what is constantly changing.
